Animals of the Fresh Water biome
There is an abundance of animal species in the fresh-water biome. More than 700 species of fish, 1,200 species of amphibians, mollusks, and insects all live in them. Animals include: frogs, crab, shrimp, turtles, tadpoles, otters, manatee, a myriad of fish, aligators, etc. Once there is a body of fresh-water, you are bound to find a plethora of mammals. There are some animals that are typically found in these biomes that live on the land around the water. Some of the animals are : raccoon, earthworms, and possums.
